Wedding centerpieces…where to look online for directions/photos?

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

Sister just announced her wedding date and I am in charge of a ton of stuff, like the table centerpieces for the reception. Love to find some webpages that give step by step directions on how to do this and lots of ideas! I will do the silk table arrangements and probably we will also have some fresh flowers for her to carry. Thanks for your help & enthusiasm!

I’m helping my mother in law plan a wedding for my brother n law…I was just at Michaels (craft store) and have they have pamphlets with do it yourself ideas with a complete material list and steps to walk you through how to make many different things involved in the wedding. I don’t know if all of these ideas are on their website, http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectlist?categoryid=62&cm_ven=2007WeddingBrochure&cm_ite=Wedding%20Day%20Decorations but here’s the link if you want to have a look…there are more than 50 items to choose from.

What is the cheapest way to buy real flowers for an outdoor wedding in July in Tennessee?

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

I mean CHEAP. Very tight budget. We can arrange them ourselves… my sister is GREAT at arranging flowers. Any ideas appreciated.

:)

There are many wholesale places on the web that sell flowers to the average consumer without a vendors liscence. Here are a few websites that I have found that are able to give you low prices.

www.theflowerexchange.com

I checked out the prices and they are within a few cents of what a retail florist would pay if they bought them from their wholesaler.

I have a floral design degree from Ohio State University and have owned my own flower shop.

It is a burgundy and ovry wedding. I was thinking of burgundy cym’s and ivory roses but I can’t seem to find burgundy cym’s that aren’t pink.
