Help with an idea for a flower arrangement?
Well, in our county fair the theme is "A Treasure Chest for the County’s Best" It has to be a flower arrangment with dried artificial or real flowers.
I was thinking that the base would be a treasure map on sandpaper or something anyother ideas or some kind of link will be appreciated.
arrange them IN a treasure chest made of wicker weave.
and use lots of golden flowers, like sunflowers and the occasional red / blue / white dotted spray.
arrange so the chest is open and the flowers are like the gold bounty within.

The map sounds like a good place to start and playing into the ‘treasure’ theme, I’d lean toward yellow or golden flower types.

What is the "county" best known for? How about a cornucopia-type arrangement, combining cascading flowers plus the country’s most famous produce. The colours of the flowers could be themed to suit. This would work well if the county produce is fruit or corn or something like that, but maybe not so well if it’s cars or machinery, although you could adapt things like these for containers! Not sure what you could do if it’s meat though!!
