How can I change from "Ladette To Lady" by myself?
Firstly I am not as badly behaved as the ladettes on the show. I would say I was somewhere in the middle between ladette and lady. If I’m honest probably closer to ladette but I want to be more ladylike.
I don’t really know how to go about it! There aren’t any classes I could attend near me so I am going to have to do it on my own!
On the show they learn deportment, etiquette, elocution as well as cookery and flower arranging. Plus they dress nicely in sweet suits and twinsets and pearls.
What are the skills of a lady or how should a lady act and speak?
They also have classes on hair and make up and they look so pretty but modest after their make overs!

I’ve seen the show. You can do it, but you’ll need to read a variety of books and do as much research as you can. There are even finishing schools still around, but they’re expensive. There were a million more ladies about in the 50’s. The concept of a lady and her privelages etc. is built around Judeo/Christian morality. For that reason, these videos might help, even if you don’t believe. You need to find out what you can rightly expect from a Gentleman and not sell yourself short. There is an awful lot you will need to learn, persist with it, it’s worth it !

Read books written by ladies in the past that were not feminists. Ladies have always looked down on feminists, good luck ! Remember, no one looks down on a lady, no one, especially not feminists, but you will need to learn to handle men like a lady.

Why would you want to change who you are?
There’s nothing wrong with ladettes, im a bit of a ladette myself, just be yourself, i wonder why there’s no programme Lad to gentleman?
I don’t have any tips to be a lady, i wouldn’t know anything about that, but maybe there are websites, books or even the programme itself, they might be able to help you.
Theres nothing wrong with not being a lady as long as your a nice decant person, anyway ladettes are fine, some of them are fun and down to earth, theyre the type of women id rather be friends with.
